I’ve decided to bail on any Brooklyn-related plans tonight based on a) my desire to not cross the river as I’m staying at my sister’s place in the Village this weekend, and b) scary rumors about the Bloods trying to kill people tonight. Granted, all the stuff I read didn’t specify that the gang was targeting WIlliamsburg, but I know they’ve been active in that neighborhood before.
I haven’t been invited to any Manhattan-related events tonight (nooo parade. I hate it). Ideally, I’d like to sit in a pub after work, drink some nice beer, and play Scrabble. This is problematic as it requires another person and a place that will be relatively quiet in the West Village on Halloween. Unlikely.
I guess let me know if you have suggestions. I would like to be in bed at a reasonable hour. I do not have a costume. Waaa waa waaaaa. I’ll shut up now.
